Learn for the sake of learning for itself, be crafty at it. Do you have the knack to learn to discover, to uncover, to turn upside-down and side-up again. To deconstruct and reconstruct, to make sense out of the unlikely, learn to answer, to question to make out the other one for the sake of discovering, not telling anybody that you progressed step by step, from position to position, you put the puzzle together. You learn for yourself not for the others, not to show off, not to put the other one down. Learning is your secret; it is all you have. It is the only thing you can call your own, nobody can take it, and remember ignorance is no excuse, you better learn or else.  (Louise Bourgeois, The View from the Bottom of the Well)

A life-long learner with a fondness for the sacredness of paper, the nuances of pattern language, and tactile nature of textiles. I am a designer wedded to the philosophy of art and craft, whether the making is with hand or with bits and bytes. I believe in and appreciate “the little things," and luv the 1:1 scale of hand held objects.

My practice is shaped by many facets, including my professional experiences as a program and product manager at many iconic bay area companies, my education in architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, a wandering yoga practice, and the wonder and simple joys of a puppy named Sugi. Each of these disparate pieces contribute to my background and inform my work. These experiences also teach me to be malleable and flexible, enabling me to work with a diverse client base as a problem solver with both a business and design background.
